Job Title: Assistant Financial Accountant
Department: Finance
Reports to: Senior Accountant
Location: Dublin

Key Purpose of the Role:

To work as part of an experienced Finance team to prepare monthly and annual financial reports. The ideal candidate should be in the final stages of qualifying as an accountant or newly qualified. Training will be provided.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Revenue assurance with detailed reporting, analysis, and investigations
  • Analysis of Voice Traffic revenue & costs
  • Assistance with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Product pricing support
  • Assistance with external audits
  • Sales Commission calculation
  • Business Case processing for new client discounts
  • Assist with other finance projects and activities as they arise

Essential Skills & Experience (key competencies):

  • Experience in a similar position for at least 2 years
  • Part or recently qualified accountant with a proven ability to pass exams in ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • The role will be varied and the ideal candidate should be flexible and willing to adapt
  • Capable of working on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Strong attention to detail
